The purpose of the Instruments Handbook is to provide information to help Commonwealth rulemakers and agencies make and manage legislative and notifiable instruments efficiently, effectively and in accordance with the relevant law. It should be read in conjunction with the following documents:

2. the Legislation (Exemptions and Other Matters) Regulation 2015 (LEOMR)

3. the Legislation Rule 2016

4. the Legal Services Directions 2017
