These Regulations amend the Industrial Chemicals (Notification and Assessment) Regulations 1990 to increase New Chemical (those not listed on the Australian Inventory of Chemical Substances) fees and charges (only) for the National Industrial Chemicals Notification and Assessment Scheme for 2009-10.

1              Name of Regulations

                These Regulations are the Industrial Chemicals (Notification and Assessment) Amendment Regulations 2009 (No. 1).

2              Commencement

                These Regulations commence on 1 July 2009.

3              Amendment of Industrial Chemicals (Notification and Assessment) Regulations 1990

                Schedule 1 amends the Industrial Chemicals (Notification and Assessment) Regulations 1990.
