Act Reprints

Reprints are printed copies of Acts that incorporate all amendments to the act as at the date of reprintingThese were published as a series of pamphlets between 1973 and 2016. Before the introduction of point-in-time compilations on the Register, reprints served as the primary format for publishing amendments to Acts.

Prior to the reprint system, it was common practice to occasionally publish consolidated volumes of the Constitution and all Acts in force. This occurred in 1911, 1935, 1950 and 1973. Copies of the consolidated volumes are available here.

Reprints will be made available on the Register if a point-in-time compilation is not already available and a digitised copy of the reprint exists. These reprints will be uploaded progressively as they are prepared and can be accessed using the links provided below.

It is important to note that reprints do not include retrospective amendments, which are changes to the law made after the publication date that apply to the period covered by the reprint. They also do not incorporate corrections made after the publication date.

Information about the full Commonwealth Reprinted Acts series is available at Commonwealth legislation | National Library of Australia (NLA).
