2025 Summary and Conclusions
Thank you to everyone who took the time to respond to our survey on the Federal Register of Legislation that was open over the period 28 October to 28 November 2025. We received 1533 responses. Your responses were generally positive and have highlighted some areas where we could provide more help and guidance on how to use and navigate the Register. We acknowledge that there is always room for improvement and we hope that you will continue to provide us with your constructive feedback.
Work to improve website availability is ongoing and, when issues arise, resolving them remains our priority.

Ease of searching and the results that are returned
Reliability and stability of the website
Navigating within the document using hyperlinks, particularly large multi-volume documents
We are continuing to enhance the website and appreciate your patience when improvements take a little longer than we would like. There are some features that we are not able to provide while we continue to work in a word based system. When updates are made we will publish these on the System updates - Federal Register of Legislation page.

2024 Summary and Conclusions

Most responses were positive, though it was clear that a lot of you have found the redeveloped site to be a very different experience to the previous version and it will take some time to get the hang of it. We acknowledge that there is always room for improvement and we hope that you will continue to provide us with your constructive feedback.

We are continuing to work and improve the website. Some things can be fixed quickly and some things might take a little longer. There are other things that we are not able to fix while we continue to work in a word based system. Your feedback is valuable, please keep sending it through.
