Notation:
The provision of assistance authorised by the Attorney General before these Guidelines commenced is unaffected until completion of the stage or services for which the provision of assistance was authorised, with the exception of matters in which the provision of assistance authorised has not been used since 1 January 2006. In such a case, the applicant must submit a new application for the provision of assistance. Applications that were received, but not determined, before the commencement of these Guidelines will be decided under the guidelines applicable at the date the application was received by the Department
