The Administrative Procedures approved under subsection 6 (1) of the Environment Protection (Impact of Proposals) Act 1974 by order made on 29 May 1987 (F2009B00167) are varied as set out in this Order.

Item 3 of Part 2 of Schedule 3 to the Environmental Reform (Consequential Provisions) Act 1999 (the Act) provides that the Environment Protection (Impact of Proposals) Act 1974 (EPIP Act), and all instruments (including regulations and Administrative Procedures) made under it and in force immediately before the commencement of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act), continue to apply in relation to an activity described in item 3, 4, 5 or 8 of Schedule 1 to this Act as if (a) the EPIP Act has not been repealed; and (b) the EPIP Act were administered by the Minister administering Part 3 of the EPBC
