This instrument is the Social Security (Exempt Lump Sum - Employment Services Consultation, Research and Trial Participant Incentive Payments) Determination 2026.
(1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

This instrument is made under paragraph 8(11)(d) of the Social Security Act 1991.
In this instrument:
Act means the Social Security Act 1991.
employment services consultation, research and trial activities means the consultation, research and trial activities, in relation to employment services, undertaken by or for the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations.
participant incentive payment means a payment made by, or on behalf of, the Commonwealth to a person for their participation in employment services consultation, research and trial activities.
For the purposes of the Act, a participant incentive payment is an exempt lump sum under paragraph 8(11)(d) of the Act.
