1 Name

This instrument is the Financial Framework (Supplementary Powers) Amendment (Education Measures No. 1) Regulations 2026.

2 Commencement

(1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

This instrument is made under the Financial Framework (Supplementary Powers) Act 1997.

Anti‑bullying Additional Measures

To support students, teachers, parents and communities to respond to bullying in schools by developing and delivering:

(a) communication activities that address student wellbeing and promote the recommendations from the Anti‑Bullying Rapid Review to wider school communities; and

(b) educational resources and activities to students, teachers, school leaders and parents that support whole‑of‑school community understanding of behavioural expectations and offer practical strategies to promote pro‑social behaviour at home;

as a measure to give effect to Australia’s obligations under the Convention on the Rights of the Child, particularly Articles 4, 18 and 29.
