Schedule 1—Amendments
This instrument is the Financial Framework (Supplementary Powers) Amendment (Employment and Workplace Relations Measures No. 1) Regulations 2025.
(1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

This instrument is made under the Financial Framework (Supplementary Powers) Act 1997.

739 | Norfolk Island Employment Support Program | To provide employment services and related supports that meet the identified needs of Norfolk Island residents, including by: (a) providing services to assist individuals to find, change and retain employment; and (b) providing financial assistance to enable individuals to undertake vocational education and training courses; and (c) supporting new residents to find employment and settle into the Norfolk Island community; and (d) assisting employers to recruit employees; and (e) assisting employers to retain employees; and (f) providing wage subsidies to employers that employ individuals referred by the program provider; and (g) working with stakeholders in the community to identify issues affecting economic and social participation on Norfolk Island, with the aim of ensuring the services and supports provided by the program are tailored to the needs of residents. |
