Acts Interpretation (Substituted References—Section 19BA) Order 2004

 

  This instrument is the Acts Interpretation Amendment (2025 Measures No. 2) Substituted Reference Order 2025.

 (1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

  This instrument is made under the following provisions:

 (a) section 19B of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901;

 (b) section 19BA of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901, as in force on 25 June 2009.

Note: The provision mentioned in paragraph (b) provides authority for the amendments made by this instrument to the extent that they relate to provisions of the Fair Work Act 2009: see section 40A of the Fair Work Act 2009.

  Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.

 

1  Section 1.3

Repeal the section, substitute:

  This instrument is made under the following provisions:

 (a) section 19B of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901;

 (b) section 19BA of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901, as in force on 25 June 2009.

Note: The provision mentioned in paragraph (b) provides authority for the substitutions made by this instrument to the extent that they affect provisions of the Fair Work Act 2009: see section 40A of the Fair Work Act 2009.

2  At the end of Part 2

Add:

 (1) This section, which deals only with substitutions that affect provisions of the Fair Work Act 2009, is made under section 19BA of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901 as in force on 25 June 2009.

Note: See section 40A of the Fair Work Act 2009.

 (2) The following table sets out substitutions having effect on and after the day when the Acts Interpretation Amendment (2025 Measures No. 2) Substituted Reference Order 2025 commences that affect provisions of a single Act or instrument that refer to Ministers.
