Schedule 1—Amendments

Airports (Control of On‑Airport Activities) Regulations 1997

1  Name

  This instrument is the Airports (Control of On‑Airport Activities) Amendment (Sydney West Airport) Regulations 2025.

2  Commencement

 (1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

Note: This table relates only to the provisions of this instrument as originally made. It will not be amended to deal with any later amendments of this instrument.

 (2) Any information in column 3 of the table is not part of this instrument. Information may be inserted in this column, or information in it may be edited, in any published version of this instrument.

3  Authority

  This instrument is made under the Airports Act 1996.

4  Schedules

  Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.

Schedule 1—Amendments

Airports (Control of On‑Airport Activities) Regulations 1997

1  Subregulation 3(2)

Omit “Airports Regulations 1997”, substitute “Airports Regulations 2024”.

2  Regulation 4AA

After “Sydney (Kingsford‑Smith) Airport,”, insert “Sydney West Airport,”.

3  Paragraph 4AE(a)

Repeal the paragraph, substitute:

 (a) to sell or supply liquor on premises in:

 (i) a passenger terminal on Sydney (Kingsford‑Smith) Airport that is specified in the licence; or

 (ii) a passenger terminal on Sydney West Airport that is specified in the licence; and

4  Regulations 4AF and 4AG

After “Airport”, insert “or on Sydney West Airport”.

5  Subregulation 4AN(4)

After “Airport”, insert “or on Sydney West Airport”.

6  Regulation 4BN

Omit all the words after “specified in the sub‑licence”, substitute:

  in:

 (a) a passenger terminal on Sydney (Kingsford‑Smith) Airport specified in the licence; or

 (b) a passenger terminal on Sydney West Airport specified in the licence.

7  Subregulation 4BO(1)

After “Airport”, insert “or on Sydney West Airport”.

8  Regulation 99 (heading)

After “Airport”, insert “and Sydney West Airport”.

9  Regulation 99

After “Airport”, insert “or Sydney West Airport”.

10  Regulation 100

After “Airport”, insert “or Sydney West Airport”.
