Radiocommunications (Spectrum Licence Tax) Amendment Determination 2025 (No. 1)
The Australian Communications and Media Authority makes the following instrument under subsection 7(1) of the Radiocommunications (Spectrum Licence Tax) Act 1997.

This is the Radiocommunications (Spectrum Licence Tax) Amendment Determination 2025 (No. 1).
The instrument commences at the start of the day after the day it is registered on the Federal Register of Legislation.

This instrument is made under subsection 7(1) of the Radiocommunications (Spectrum Licence Tax) Act 1997.
The instrument that is specified in the Schedule to this instrument is amended as set out in the applicable item of the Schedule.
1 Clause 1 of Schedule 2 (definition of total annual EME Component)
Repeal the definition (including the note), substitute:
total annual EME Component means, for the 2025-2026 financial year, $2,134,433.17.
Note: Subsection 6(2) of the Australian Communications and Media Authority (Modifications to Apparatus and Spectrum Licences Taxes) Direction 2020 requires the ACMA to increase the total annual EME Component from the 2023-2024 financial year and each subsequent year. That direction is available, free of charge, from the Federal Register of Legislation at www.legislation.gov.au.
