Financial Framework (Supplementary Powers) Regulations 1997
This instrument is the Financial Framework (Supplementary Powers) Amendment (Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water Measures No. 2) Regulations 2025.
(1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

This instrument is made under the Financial Framework (Supplementary Powers) Act 1997.
Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.

Insert:
716 | To support Indigenous Australians’ participation and engagement with clean energy project development, including by funding: (a) the development of guidance materials and toolkits for Indigenous communities; and (b) programs and activities to develop Indigenous Australian‑led clean energy projects; and (c) community‑based service delivery; and (d) access to, and procurement of, technical and cultural expertise; as a measure with respect to Indigenous Australians and particular groups of Indigenous Australians. This objective also has the effect it would have if it were limited to providing funding for activities that are engaged in to give effect to Australia’s obligations under one or more of the following: (a) the Kyoto Protocol to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, particularly Article 10; (b) the Paris Agreement, particularly Article 4; (c) the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, particularly Article 4. |
