This instrument is the Defence (Individual benefits) Determination (No. 6) 2025.
1. Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

This instrument is made under section 58B of the Defence Act 1903.
The purpose of this Determination is to set the rate of higher duties allowance payable to a member when undertaking the duties of a senior officer position.
This Determination applies to the member who holds employee identification number 8083345 from 11 April 2025.
In this Determination the following apply.
Defence Determination means Defence Determination 2016/19, Conditions of service, as in from time to time.
Despite section 4.1.16 of the Defence Determination, the rate of higher duties allowance payable to the member when undertaking higher duties in the position with position number 00717608 is the difference between the following.
Note: The member may be eligible for higher duties allowance from time to time under Chapter 4 Part 1 of the Defence Determination.
This Determination is revoked on 11 April 2026.
