Competition and Consumer (Industry Codes—Food and Grocery) Regulations 2024
This instrument is the Competition and Consumer (Industry Codes—Food and Grocery) Amendment (Infringement Notices) Regulations 2025.
(1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

This instrument is made under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010.
Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.

Insert:
Subsection 51ACF(2) of the Act applies to this Code.
Note: This means that the penalty to be specified in an infringement notice to be issued to a person for an alleged contravention of this Code must be equal to:
(a) if the person is a body corporate—600 penalty units; or
(b) otherwise—12 penalty units.
