1  Name

  This instrument is the Veterans’ Entitlements (Period to Show Decision Reviewable by Veterans’ Review Board) Instrument 2025.

2  Commencement

  This instrument commences on the day after the day it is registered.

3  Authority

  This instrument is made under paragraph 155(7)(b) of the Act.

4  Definitions

Note: A number of expressions used in this instrument are defined in the Act, including the following:

(a) Board (see section 5Q);

(b) National Registrar (see section 133).

  In this instrument:

Act means the Veterans’ Entitlements Act 1986.

5  Schedules

  Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.

6  Period to show decision is reviewable by Board

28 days from the day the National Registrar notifies the person under paragraph 155(7)(a) of the Act is prescribed for the purposes of paragraph 155(7)(b) of the Act.
