1.1                   NAME OF LEGISLATIVE INSTRUMENT

1.1.1             This instrument is the Vehicle Standard (Australian Design Rule 79/04 – Emission Control for Light Vehicles) 2011 Amendment 3.

1.1.2             This instrument may also be cited as ADR 79/04 Amendment 3.

1.2                  COMMENCEMENT

1.2.1        This instrument commences the day after it is registered.

2              AMENDMENT OF VEHICLE STANDARD

2.1.1             The changes specified in Schedule 1 amend Vehicle Standard (Australian Design Rule 79/04 – Emission Control for Light Vehicles) 2011.

3                     SCHEDULE 1

1. After Clause 2.3

Insert:

“2.4 Vehicles complying with ADR 79/05 need not comply with this vehicle standard.”

Omit:

Certain clauses of this Appendix A have been amended from the published UN ECE Regulation 83/06 by the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Communications as indicated in the table below.

Substitute:

Certain clauses of this Appendix A have been amended from the published UN ECE Regulation 83/06 by the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and Arts as indicated in the table below.
