This instrument is the National Anti-Corruption Commission (Treasury) Delegations 2023.
(1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

This instrument is made under the National Anti-Corruption Commission Act 2022.
Note: Expressions have the same meaning in this instrument as in the National Anti-Corruption Commission Act 2022 as in force from time to time—see paragraph 13(1)(b) of the Legislation Act 2003.
In this instrument:
the Act means the National Anti-Corruption Commission Act 2022.
the Treasury means the Department of the Treasury.
Part 2—Delegations from the Treasury Secretary
Delegations
(1) Under subsection 277(1) of the Act, any person holding, occupying or performing the duties of any of the following offices or positions in the Treasury, is delegated all of the Secretary to the Treasury’s functions, powers or duties under the Act:
(a) the Deputy Secretary of Corporate and Foreign Investment Group;
(b) the Chief Operating Officer, Corporate Division;
(c) the First Assistant Secretary and Chief Counsel, Law Division;
(d) if an office or position covered by a preceding paragraph ceases to exist or is renamed—all of the offices or positions with similar functions or responsibilities.
Directions
(2) Under subsection 277(3) of the Act, a delegate under subsection (1) is directed to exercise the functions, powers or duties in a manner consistent with all of the following:
(a) if an issue is referred to the Commissioner under subsection 33(1) of the Actthe delegate is required to notify the Secretary to the Treasury of the referral as soon as is practicable.
