This instrument is the Aged Care Legislation Amendment (Quality Indicator Program) Principles 2023.

(1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

This instrument is made under the Aged Care Act 1997.

1 Section 4 (definition of National Aged Care Mandatory Quality Indicator Program Manual)

Repeal the definition, substitute:

National Aged Care Mandatory Quality Indicator Program Manual means the National Aged Care Mandatory Quality Indicator Program Manual 3.0–Part A, published on the Department’s website, as existing at the commencement of the Aged Care Legislation Amendment (Quality Indicator Program) Principles 2023.

2 Paragraph 26(b)

Omit “1 April 2023”, substitute “the commencement of the Aged Care Legislation Amendment (Quality Indicator Program) Principles 2023”.
