1  Name

  This instrument is the Biosecurity (First Point of Entry—Port of Port Adelaide) Amendment (2023 Measures No.1) Determination 2023.

2  Commencement

 (1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

Schedule 1Amendments

 

Biosecurity (First Point of Entry—Port of Port Adelaide) Determination 2021

1        Section 4

Insert:

container has the same meaning as in the Biosecurity Regulation 2016.

non-commercial vessel waste means waste carried on a non-commercial vessel.

2        Section 4 (definition of general goods)

Omit “(as defined by section 19 of the Act)”.

 

3        Section 4 (definition of waste)

Omit “(as defined by section 19 of the Act)”.

 

4        Section 8 (cell at table item 2, Column 2 headed “Areas”)

Repeal the cell, substitute:

The following areas:

(a) Inner Harbour 18;

(b) Inner Harbour 19;

(c) Inner Harbour 20;

(d) Inner Harbour 29;

(e) Outer Harbor 1;

(f) Outer Harbor 2;

(g) Outer Harbor 3;
