1  Name

  This instrument is the Aged Care Legislation Amendment (Vaccination Information) Principles 2022.

2  Commencement

 (1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

Note: This table relates only to the provisions of this instrument as originally made. It will not be amended to deal with any later amendments of this instrument.

 (2) Any information in column 3 of the table is not part of this instrument. Information may be inserted in this column, or information in it may be edited, in any published version of this instrument.

3  Authority

  This instrument is made under the Aged Care Act 1997.

4  Schedules

  Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.

Schedule 1—Amendments

Accountability Principles 2014

1  After paragraph 30C(1)(e)

Insert:

 (ea) the number of those service staff who have informed the approved provider, whether voluntarily or as required under a law of a State or Territory, that they have received a booster dose of a COVID‑19 vaccine;

2  After paragraph 30C(2)(c)

Insert:

 (ca) the number of those service staff who have informed the approved provider, whether voluntarily or as required under a law of a State or Territory, that they have received a booster dose of a COVID‑19 vaccine;

3  Subsection 30C(3)

After “(e)”, insert “, (ea)”.

4  Subsection 30C(3)

After “(c)”, insert “, (ca)”.

5  Subsection 30C(4) (paragraph (a) of the definition of COVID‑19 vaccination reporting day)

Omit “4 January”, substitute “25 January”.

6  After paragraph 10B(1)(d)

Insert:

 (da) the number of service staff in relation to the service who have informed the approved provider, whether voluntarily or as required under a law of a State or Territory, that they have received a booster dose of a COVID‑19 vaccine;

7  After paragraph 10B(2)(b)

Insert:

 (ba) the number of those service staff who have informed the approved provider, whether voluntarily or as required under a law of a State or Territory, that they have received a booster dose of a COVID‑19 vaccine;
