Financial Reporting Council — Appointment of Chair (2021 Appointment No. 1)

Australian Securities and Investments Commission Act 2001

I, Michael Sukkar, Minister for Housing and Assistant Treasurer, acting under subsection 235A(3) of the Australian Securities and Investments Commission Act 2001, make the following appointments as Chair of the Financial Reporting Council:

(a) Lawrie Tremaine for a period of 3 months commencing on 1 January 2021; and

(b) William Edge from 1 April 2021 until 28 July 2022.

These appointments remain in place unless or until provided otherwise by a later instrument.
