1  Name

This instrument is the Higher Education Support (Indigenous Student Success Program) (Rollover of Grant Amounts) Amendment Determination 2020.

2  Commencement

  This instrument commences on the day after this instrument is registered.

3  Authority

  This instrument is made under paragraph 38-40(3)(b) and subsection 38-40(4) of the Higher Education Support Act 2003.

4 Schedules

  Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.

 

 

Schedule 1Amendments

Higher Education Support (Indigenous Student Success Program) (Rollover of Grant Amounts) Determination (No. 3) 2019

1  Paragraph 5(b) (cell at item 2, column 3)

Repeal the cell, substitute:

2  Paragraph 6(b) (cell at item 1, column 3)

Repeal the cell, substitute:

$77,991

3  Subclause 1(1) of Schedule 1 (cell at item 2, column 3)

Repeal the cell, substitute:

a)       Support related to mitigating the effects of restrictions imposed following COVID-19, including providing reliable internet access for regional and remote students;

b)       Contribution to supplementary grant scheme to support students in need;

c)       Establishment of Aboriginal High Achiever Prizes; and

d)       Targeted and increased promotion of ISSP funded activities and services to students.  

4  Subclause 3(1) of Schedule 1

Omit “October of 2020” (wherever occurring), substitute “April of 2021”.
