Schedule 1—Amendments

National Health (Immunisation Program – Designated Vaccines) Determination 2014 (No.1)

1  Name

  This instrument is the National Health (Immunisation Program – Designated Vaccines) Amendment Determination (No.4) 2020.

2  Commencement

 (1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

Note: This table relates only to the provisions of this instrument as originally made. It will not be amended to deal with any later amendments of this instrument.

 (2) Any information in column 3 of the table is not part of this instrument. Information may be inserted in this column, or information in it may be edited, in any published version of this instrument.

3  Authority

  This instrument is made under subsections 9B(2) and (5) of the National Health Act 1953.

4  Schedules

  Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.

Schedule 1—Amendments

National Health (Immunisation Program – Designated Vaccines) Determination 2014 (No.1)

1  Part 2 of Schedule 1 (table item 202A, column headed “Vaccine and the circumstances in which vaccine may be provided”)

Repeal the circumstances, substitute:

Circumstances

Vaccine may be provided to a child who is at least 10 years old but less than 14 years of age until either:

(i)                  the Department has been notified by the person who is the responsible person for the supply of item 202 of Schedule 1, that item 202 is available for supply in Australia; and

(ii)               the information provided by the responsible person is sufficient to satisfy the Department to that effect; or

(iii)             the end of 30 June 2022;

whichever were to occur first.

(iv)              the Department has been notified by the person who is the responsible person for the supply of item 202 of Schedule 1, that item 202 is available for supply in Australia; and

(v)                the information provided by the responsible person is sufficient to satisfy the Department to that effect; or

(vi)              the end of 30 June 2022;

whichever were to occur first.
