1  Name

  This instrument is the VET Student Loans Amendment Rules (No. 1) 2020.

2  Commencement

 (1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

1  Section 12 - Amount of a VETSL debt

Before If”, insert (1).

2  At the end of section 12

  Add:

 

(2) If the part of the course to which the VETSL debt relates has a census date between 1 April 2020 and 30 September 2020, the percentage for the person is 100% of the loan amount.
