This instrument is the Shipping Registration (Repeal and Consequential Amendments) Regulations 2019.
(1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

This instrument is made under the following:
(a) the Shipping Registration Act 1981;
(b) the Electronic Transactions Act 1999;
(c) the Personal Property Securities Act 2009.
Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.
1 The whole of the instrument
Repeal the instrument.
1 Schedule 1 (cell at table item 131, column headed “Commonwealth law”)
Repeal the cell, substitute:
Shipping Registration Regulations 2019 |
2 Regulation 1.6 (subparagraph (b)(ii) of the definition of watercraft)
Omit “Shipping Registration Regulations 1981”, substitute “Shipping Registration Regulations 2019”.
