This instrument is Defence Determination (Door-to-door travel – amendment) 2018 (No. 3).
This instrument commences 8 February 2018.
This instrument is made under section 58B of the Defence Act 1903
Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.
Schedule 1—Door-to-door travel amendments

1 | Section 9.1.12 (Door-to-door travel) |

1. | Door-to-door travel includes the reasonable cost of transport to and from airports, railway stations and coach terminals. Example: Travel between the member's home and the nearest airport. | |
2. | To avoid doubt, door-to-door travel does not apply to remote location leave travel. | |
