1  Name

  This instrument is the Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety (Licence Charges) Amendment (2017 Measures No. 1) Regulations 2017.

2  Commencement

 (1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

8  Clause 1 of Schedule 3 (table item 23)

Repeal the item, substitute:

Laser product with an accessible emission that exceeds the accessible emission limits of a Class 3R laser product, as set out in Australian/New Zealand Standard AS/NZS IEC 60825.1:2014 Safety of laser products, Part 1: Equipment classification and requirements, published jointly by, or on behalf of, Standards Australia and Standards New Zealand, as existing on 1 July 2017

 

9  Clause 1 of Schedule 3 (at the end of the cell at table item 24, column headed Controlled apparatus or controlled material)

Add “, published jointly by, or on behalf of, Standards Australia and Standards New Zealand, as existing on 1 July 2017”.
