Schedule 1—Amendments
Veterans’ Entitlements Regulations 1986
This instrument is the Veterans’ Entitlements Amendment (Medical Expenses Reimbursement) Regulations 2017.
(1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

17 Application of amendments relating to medical expenses reimbursement
The amendments made by the Veterans’ Entitlements Amendment (Medical Expenses Reimbursement) Regulations 2017 apply in relation to an application under section 170A or 196ZN of the Act that is made on or after the commencement of this item.
