I, ROMAN QUAEDVLIEG, ComptrollerGeneral of Customs, under section 4A of the Customs Act 1901, approve the attached “IMPENDING ARRIVAL REPORT (SEA) statement as an approved statement for the purposes of communicating to the Department, an electronic report of the impending arrival of a ship at a port in Australia in accordance with subsection 64(10) of that Act.

 

This Instrument commences on 1 October 2015.

Sender Reference

The identifier assigned by the person communicating the report to identify (and distinguish from others) the report and all subsequent amendments to the report.

Sender Reference Version

The numeric identifier assigned by the person communicating the report to identify the version of the report or sequence of related reports.

Vessel ID

The identifier of the ship to which the report relates:

 

  • the Lloyds identification number of the ship; or
  • if the vessel does not have a Lloyds identification number, the identification code allocated to the operator of the ship by the Department.

Voyage Number

The unique number assigned by the principal agent of the ship for the particular journey to Australia.

Last Overseas Departure Port Code

The UNLocode, as published by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UN/ECE), of the last place outside Australia which the ship departed from prior to its arrival in Australia.

Last Overseas Departure Date

The date the ship departed from the place identified in item 5.

Last Overseas Departure Time

The time the ship departed from the place identified in item 5.

First Arrival Port Code

The UNLocode for the place where the first Australian port the ship is expected to arrive at is located.

Principal Agent ID

The Australian Business Number (ABN), or code allocated by the Department (the Customs Client Identifier or CCID), of the principal agent of the ship.

Overseas Routing Port Code

For each place outside Australia that the ship stopped during the journey  the UNLocode for the place.

Slot Charterer ID

The ABN or CCID of the slot charterer (if any) who has leased cargo space from the principal agent for the ship.

Arrival Port Code

The UNLocode for the place where the port, to which the report relates, is located (the port).

Estimated Date

The date that the ship is expected to arrive at the port.

Estimated Time

The time that the ship is expected to arrive at the port.

Discharge Indicator

Indicate whether goods will be unloaded at the port.

 

YES

If cargo is to be unloaded.

NO

If cargo is not to be unloaded.

Stevedore ID

The ABN or CCID assigned to the stevedore who is unloading the goods on board the ship at the port.

Stevedore Establishment ID

The identifier of the stevedore establishment that is unloading the goods on board the ship at the port.
