Water Efficiency Labelling and Standards (Registration Fees) Determination 2013

1  Name

  This is the Water Efficiency Labelling and Standards (Registration Fees) Amendment Determination 2015 (No. 1).

2  Commencement

  This instrument commences on 22 January 2015.

3  Authority

  This instrument is made under the Water Efficiency Labelling and Standards (Registration Fees) Act 2013.

4  Schedules

  Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.

Schedule 1Amendments

 

Water Efficiency Labelling and Standards (Registration Fees) Determination 2013

1  Section 4

Insert:

minor product has the same meaning as in the WELS Determination.

2  Subsection 5(2)

Omit “fee is worked out”, substitute “fee for a number (the relevant number) of products is to be worked out”.

3  Paragraph 5(2)(a)

Omit “the product”, substitute “the relevant number of products”.

4  Paragraph 5(2)(b)

Omit “for the product in Schedule 1,”, substitute “in Schedule 1 for the relevant number of products,”.

5  Subparagraph 5(2)(b)(ii)

Omit “the product”, substitute “the relevant number of products”.

6  Paragraph 5(2)(c)

Omit “for the product in Schedule 1,”, substitute “in Schedule 1 for the relevant number of products,”.

7  Subsections 5(3) and (4)

Repeal the subsections, substitute:

 (3) If the fee is to be worked out for a number of products that consists of 2 or more minor products, or 2 or more minor products and a product that is not a minor product, the relevant number of products for the purposes of subsection (2) is taken to be the number worked out as follows:

 (a) divide the number of minor products by 15 and round the result up to the nearest whole number;

 (b) add the result of paragraph (a) to the number of products that are not minor products (if any).
