Land Sector Carbon and Biodiversity Board Specification under section 62(1)(c) of the Climate Change Authority Act 2011 (Cth) (1)

I, TONY BURKE, Minister for Sustainability, Environment, Water, Population and Communities (the Environment Minister), acting under section 62(1)(c) of the Climate Change Authority Act 2011 (Cth), specify the following matters as matters about which the Land Sector Carbon and Biodiversity Board is required to advise the Environment Minister under section 62 of that Act:
 

1.   the implementation of the National Wildlife Corridors Plan;
2.   the nomination of wildlife corridors for declaration as National Wildlife Corridors and the assessment of those nominated wildlife corridors;
3.   the declaration of wildlife corridors as National Wildlife Corridors;
4.   progress towards the implementation of National Wildlife Corridors in its annual report for presentation to the Parliament; and
5.   the priorities for research and investigation in relation to the matters specified in paragraphs (a) – (d).
