1 Name of direction

  This direction is the Legal Services Amendment Direction 2012 (No. 2).

2 Commencement

  This direction commences on the commencement of Schedule 1 to the Parliamentary Counsel and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2012.

3 Amendment of Legal Services Directions 2005

  Schedule 1 amends the Legal Services Directions 2005.

Drafting work

3  Drafting work is tied so that only the Office of Parliamentary Counsel is to undertake, or arrange for, the drafting of the following:

 (a) government Bills;

 (b) government amendments of Bills;

 (c) regulations;

 (d) Ordinances and regulations of nonselfgoverning Territories;

 (e) other legislative instruments made or approved by the GovernorGeneral.
