1. Name of Instrument
This instrument is the Licence Area Plan – Darwin Television.
2. Commencement
This instrument commences the day after it is registered.

3. Determination
(1) This plan for television broadcasting services in the Darwin area of the Northern Territory is made under subsection 26(1) of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992.
(2) Two national television broadcasting services, two commercial television broadcasting services and one open narrowcasting television service are to be available in the area described at Attachment 1.1 to this plan with the use of the broadcasting services bands. The characteristics, including technical specifications, of the services that are to be available in the area described at Attachment 1.1 are set out in Schedule One and Attachments 1.2 to 1.12 to this plan.
(3) A reference in this plan to a schedule or an attachment includes a reference to a schedule or attachment as amended from time to time.
