1 Name of regulation
This regulation is the Product Stewardship (Televisions and Computers) Amendment Regulation 2012 (No. 1).
2 Commencement
This regulation commences on the day after it is registered.
3 Amendment of Product Stewardship (Televisions and Computers) Regulations 2011
Schedule 1 amends the Product Stewardship (Televisions and Computers) Regulations 2011.

(5) Subregulation (6) applies:
(a) to a liable party who has failed to be a member of a co‑regulatory arrangement for a financial year (not including the 2011–2012 financial year); and
(b) in relation to the products:
(i) in a class of products imported, manufactured or exported in a prior financial year; and
(ii) that gave rise to the party’s liability to be a member of the co-regulatory arrangement for the financial year.
(6) In the first subsequent financial year in which the liable party becomes a member, the products mentioned in paragraph 5 (b) are taken into account in steps 1 and 2 of subregulation (4) as if those products were imported, manufactured or exported in the financial year before the liable party becomes a member.

(8) To calculate the converted weight mentioned in steps 2 and 5 of subregulation (4), the same conversion factor must be used for the product exported as was used for the product when it was imported or manufactured.
