Private Health Insurance (Registration) Amendment Rules 2011

 

I, ALASTAIR WILSON, delegate of the Minister for Health and Ageing, make these Rules under item 7 of the table in section 333-20 of the Private Health Insurance Act 2007.

sCHEDULE – AMENDMENTS 4 

 

Part 1 Preliminary

 

 

 These Rules are the Private Health Insurance (Registration) Amendment Rules 2011.

 

These Rules commence on:

(a) 29 November 2011; or

(b) if registered after 29 November 2011, the day after registration.

 

 The Schedule amends the Private Health Insurance (Registration) Rules 2009 (No.2).

 

 

Schedule – Amendments

 

 

[1] Schedule - restricted access groups for certain insurers, Item 8 of the Table

        

        At item 8 of the Table, in Column 2, delete subitem 8.1 and substitute:

 

8.1. Any person who is, or was, a member of:

(a) Queensland Teachers’ Union of Employees (QTU);

(b) Queensland Independent Education Union of Employees (QIEU);

(c) Queensland Public Sector Union (QPSU);

(d) Australian Services Union Clerical and Administration (ASU);

(e) Together Queensland Industrial Union of Employees (Together);

(f) Australian Services Union (Services Branch); or

(g) Community and Public Sector Union.
