The Private Health Insurance Administration Council makes these Rules under section 333-25 of the Private Health Insurance Act 2007.

1 Name of Rules

  These Rules are the Private Health Insurance (Insurer Obligations) Amendment Rules 2011 (No. 1).

2 Commencement

  These Rules commence on the day after they are registered.

3 Amendment of Private Health Insurance (Insurer Obligations) Rules 2009

  Schedule 1 amends the Private Health Insurance (Insurer Obligations) Rules 2009.

Schedule 1 Amendment

(section 3)

[1] Schedule 2, paragraph 10 (b)

substitute

 (b) prepare the report in accordance with the Professional Standard 600: Financial Condition Reports for Private Health Insurers, made by the Institute of Actuaries of Australia in June 2011, as in effect immediately before the commencement of this paragraph; and
