Variation of the Nation Building Program Roads to Recovery List

Instrument No.2009/3

I, alexaNDER EDWARD FOULDS, General Manager, South East Roads, Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government, under section 88 of the Nation Building Program (National Land Transport) Act 2009 vary the Nation Building Program Roads to Recovery List ('the List') as follows:

 

1. Variations

 

From the part of the List relating to Western Australia, omit the amount specified in Column 2 of Schedule 1 to the List for each person or body named in Column 1 of the following table and replace the omitted amount with the amount specified for that person or body in Column 2 of the following table.

From the part of the List relating to Queensland:

 

(a)                omit the funding recipients ‘Dalby Regional Council’ and ‘Roma Regional Council’ from Column 1 of Schedule 1 and the associated amounts specified in Column 2 of Schedule 1 for each body;

 

(b)                insert ‘Maranoa Regional Council’ and ‘Western Downs Regional Council’ into the list of funding recipients in Column 1 of Schedule 1 in the appropriate alphabetical positions; and

 

(c)                insert the amount of ‘$10,654,903’ in Column 2 of Schedule 1 against the ‘Maranoa Regional Council’ and the amount of ‘$13,602,355’ in Column 2 of Schedule 1 against the ‘Western Downs Regional Council’.

 

From the part of the List relating to the Northern Territory, amend the name of the funding recipient ‘Litchfield Shire Council’ by removing the word Shire.

 

From Schedule 2 of the list, replace the number ‘17,920,000’ with ‘6,092,000’.

 

2. Commencement

 

This instrument commences on 15 October 2009.
