AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CL-600/14.

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 22 October 2009.

Background:

This unique Australian AD raised in 1983 against Canadair Challenger Alert Service Bulletin (SB) No. A600-0352 required a modification to provide the required locking feature for bolts securing the engine fuel feed tube assembly to the fuel shut-off valve in each engine pylon.

Compliance was:  Prior to the issue of an Australian Certificate of Airworthiness.

This AD has been sufficiently promulgated over an extended period for the affected aircraft to have been modified by now; therefore this AD is considered to be no longer required.
