The Dean of The Australian National University College of Business and Economics makes this Order under subrule 10(3) of the Academic Progress Rules 2009.

1 Name of Order
1.1 This is the Academic Progress (ANU College of Business and Economics) Order 2009.
2 Commencement
2.1 This Order commences on the day after it is registered.
3 Failure to maintain satisfactory standard
3.1 If a student fails one semester course in a program, the ANU College Dean may send the student a letter warning the student that he or she may be excluded from the program for further failures.
3.2 For subrule 10 (3) of the Academic Progress Rules, if a student fails two semester courses in a program, or fails the same course twice, the ANU College Dean may advise the student that the student is to be excluded from the program and may invite the student to demonstrate in writing why he or she should be permitted to continue in the program.
3.3 After considering any submission by the student, the Delegated Authority may decide whether or not to exclude the student from the program.
