I, QUENTIN BRYCE, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Therapeutic Goods Act 1989.

1 Name of Regulations

  These Regulations are the Therapeutic Goods Amendment Regulations 2009 (No. 1).

2 Commencement

  These Regulations commence on the day after they are registered.

3 Amendment of Therapeutic Goods Regulations 1990

  Schedule 1 amends the Therapeutic Goods Regulations 1990.

Schedule 1 Amendments

(regulation 3)

[1] Subregulation 38 (2A)

omit

as a member of the Medical Devices Evaluation Committee or

[2] Paragraph 42J (2) (b)

substitute

 (b) ACCORD Australasia Ltd (ACN 117 659 168); and
