   1.                                Name of Legislative Instrument
      1.                          This instrument is the Vehicle Standard (Australian Design Rule 35/02 – Commercial Vehicle Brake Systems) 2007 Amendment 1.
   2.                                Commencement
      1.                          This instrument commences on the day after it is registered.

   1.                                The changes specified in Schedule 1 amend Vehicle Standard (Australian Design Rule 35/02 – Commercial Vehicle Brake Systems) 2007.

Schedule 1

[1]               Insert a new clause 8.2. to read

“The technical requirements adopted by the United Nations– Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) Regulation No. 13-H– UNIFORM PROVISIONS CONCERNING THE APPROVAL OF PASSENGER CARS WITH REGARD BRAKING, incorporating the 00 series of amendments from supplement 5 onwards shall be deemed to be equivalent to the technical requirements of this standard for NA category vehicles.”
