Inclusion of species in the list of threatened species under section 178 of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (65)

I, PETER ROBERT GARRETT, Minister for the Environment, Heritage and the Arts, pursuant to section 184(1) of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999, hereby amend the list referred to in section 178 of that Act by:

deleting from the list in the vulnerable category

• Stipiturus mallee (Mallee Emu-wren)

including in the list in the endangered category

• Stipiturus mallee (Mallee Emu-wren)

This instrument commences on 7 September 2008.
