AusLink (National Land Transport) Act 2005

Variation of the AusLink Roads to Recovery List

Instrument No.2008/4

I, jason barry maher, General Manager, SA/WA & Local Roads, Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government, under section 88 of the AusLink (National Land Transport) Act 2005 vary the AusLink Roads to Recovery List ('the List') as follows:

1. Variations

From the part of the List relating to the Northern Territory

(a)                omit the named recipients listed in Schedule 1 from the 'Funding Recipients' column;

(b)               omit the amount in the 'Auslink Roads to Recovery Grant' column corresponding to the named recipients listed in Schedule 1;

(c) insert in the 'Funding Recipients' column, in the appropriate alphabetical position, the name of recipients listed in column 1 of Schedule 2; and

(d) insert the amount listed in column 2 of Schedule 2 at the position in the 'Auslink Roads to Recovery Grant' column corresponding to the named recipients listed in column 1 of Schedule 2.

From the part of the List relating to Western Australia;

(a)                omit the following named recipients from the 'Funding Recipients' column:

Shire of Broomhill; and

Shire of Tambellup; and

(b)               omit the amount in the 'Auslink Roads to Recovery Grant' column corresponding to these named recipients;

(c) insert in the 'Funding Recipients' column, in the appropriate alphabetical position, the Shire of Broomehill-Tambellup; and

(d) insert the amount of ‘269,297’ at the position in the 'Auslink Roads to Recovery Grant' column corresponding to the Shire of Broomehill-Tambellup.

From the part of the List relating to Queensland;

(a)                omit the following named recipients from the 'Funding Recipients' column:

Roma Town Council; and

Noosa Council; and

(b)               omit the amount in the 'Auslink Roads to Recovery Grant' column corresponding to these named recipients; and

(c) replace the named recipient ‘Redland Shire Council’ with the named recipient ‘Redland City Council’.

From the part of the List relating to South Australia;

(a)                omit the named recipient ‘District Council of Le Hunte’ in the 'Funding Recipients' column;

(b)               omit the amount in the 'Auslink Roads to Recovery Grant' column corresponding to this named recipient;

(c) insert in the 'Funding Recipients' column, in the appropriate alphabetical position, the ‘Wudinna District Council’; and

(d) insert the amount of ‘1,071,823’ at the position in the 'Auslink Roads to Recovery Grant' column corresponding to the Wudinna District Council.

2. Commencement

This instrument commences on 15 July 2008.
