Delete the entry at 4.1 to 4.5 and insert the following;
- For vehicle categories, definitions and meanings used in this standard refer to;
- Australian Design Rules Third Edition;
- Part A, Subpart 4, Terms defined in the Motor Vehicle Standards Act 1989;
- Part B, Subpart 2, Definitions and Vehicle Categories;
- Section 2 of Appendix A.

Insert the following at Clause 5 - Requirements:
- Pneumatic tyres shall bear the date of manufacture in the form of a group of four digits, the first two showing the week and the last two the year of manufacture. The marking shall meet the requirements of Annex 3 – Arrangement of Tyre Markings and may be placed on one side wall only.
