1 Name of Instrument

This Instrument is the Declaration of Designated Outwards Secondary Shipper Body 2007 (No. 2).

2 Commencement

This Instrument commences when it is signed.

3 Declaration

I, De-Anne Margaret Kelly, Parliamentary Secretary to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Transport and Regional Services:

(a)                acting under subsection 10.03(2) of the Trade Practices Act 1974; and

(b)               being of the opinion that:

  1. the South Australian Shipping User Group represents the interests, in relation to outwards liner cargo shipping services, of shippers and producers of exports from South Australia; and
  2. that it is desirable that the South Australian Shipping User Group be a designated outwards secondary shipper body for the purposes of Part X of the Trade Practices Act 1974

declare that the South Australian Shipping User Group is a designated outwards secondary shipper body for the purposes of Part X of the Trade Practices Act 1974.

4 Revocation

All previous Instruments of Declaration made under subsection 10.03(2) of the Trade Practices Act 1974 in relation to the South Australian Shipping User Group are revoked.
