Broadcasting Services (Hours of Local Content) Regulations 20071

1 Name of Regulations

  These Regulations are the Broadcasting Services (Hours of Local Content) Regulations 2007.

2 Commencement

  These Regulations commence on the day after they are registered.

3 Definition

  In these Regulations:

Act means the Broadcasting Services Act 1992.

4 Prescribed daytime hours (Act s 43C)

 (1) For paragraph (a) of the definition of daytime hours in subsection 43C (8) of the Act, 5 am each day is prescribed.

 (2) For paragraph (b) of the definition of daytime hours in subsection 43C (8) of the Act, 8 pm each day is prescribed.

5 Prescribed primetime hours (Act s 61CA)

 (1) For paragraph (a) of the definition of primetime hours in section 61CA of the Act, 5 am each day is prescribed.

 (2) For paragraph (b) of the definition of primetime hours in section 61CA of the Act, 8 pm each day is prescribed.
