1 Name of Regulations

  These Regulations are the Occupational Health and Safety (Safety Arrangements) Amendment Regulations 2007 (No. 1).

2 Commencement

  These Regulations commence on the day after they are registered.

3 Amendment of Occupational Health and Safety (Safety Arrangements) Regulations 1991

  Schedule 1 amends the Occupational Health and Safety (Safety Arrangements) Regulations 1991.

39A Application of the Act to workplaces controlled by contractors

  For paragraph 14 (1) (c) of the Act, the following provisions of the Act apply to work performed by employees at a workplace controlled by a contractor for construction or maintenance purposes while it is so controlled:

 (a) Part 3;

 (b) Part 4;

 (c) Part 5;

 (d) Schedule 2.

40 Application of the Act to employees working in nonCommonwealth premises

  For section 15 of the Act, the following provisions of the Act apply in relation to an employee who ordinarily performs his or her work at a particular place that is neither Commonwealth premises nor nonCommonwealth licensee premises:

 (a) Part 3;

 (b) Part 4;

 (c) Part 5;

 (d) Schedule 2.
