1 Name of Regulations

  These Regulations are the Parliamentary Entitlements Amendment Regulations 2005 (No. 2).

2 Commencement

  These Regulations commence on the day after they are registered.

3 Amendment of Parliamentary Entitlements Regulations 1997

  Schedule 1 amends the Parliamentary Entitlements Regulations 1997.

 (2) The class of travel entitlement of the member may be downgraded for either or both of the following purposes:

 (a) to offset the cost of the fare of an accompanying spouse;

 (b) to enable travel to be extended for purposes related to Parliamentary or electorate business.
