Air Force Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE MINISTER OF STATE FOR AVIATION acting for and on behalf of the Minister of State for Defence, hereby make the following Interim Determination under section 12 of the Defence Amendment Act 1979.

Repeal

1. Regulation 615 of the Air Force Regulations is repealed.

Special area allowance

2. Regulation 615a of the Air Force Regulations is amended by emitting “or an Antarctic locality for the purpose of Determination 0305, Antarctic Allowance; being determinations made under section 58b of the Defence Act 1903 or a Woomera locality for the purpose of regulation 615” and substituting “a Woomera locality for the purpose of Determination 0302, Woomera Allowance; Antarctica for the purpose of Determination 0305, Antarctic Allowance; or Broken Hill for the purpose of Determination 0305, Broken Hill Allowance; being, determinations made under section 58b of the Defence Act 1903”.

Application

3. This Interim Determination shall take effect on the day on which Determination 0302, Woomera Allowance and Determination 0306, Broken Hill Allowance, are made under section 5813 of the Defence Act 1903.
